Albertson's Doubles

This week, we got 3 Albertson's doubles in the paper- now the closest Albertson's is about 20 minutes away, but it ended up being VERY worth it. I did a total of 8 transactions- they provided most of the double coupons, Brittney provided a set (thank again!!) and I had one. They let me do them right after another- the stores were pretty slow... Anyway,

I got 3 Meadow Gold Over the Moon Milks $1.99- $1/1 coupons- doubled, 6 Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Rolls - $1.29 each- doubled $1/2 coupons - final price .29 each. 7 ICBNB sticks and tubs $1.99 each, doubled $1/1 coupons, 4 Dole Pineapple $1.00 each- coupons .50/1- Doubled, 2 Diamond Chopped Walnuts $2.49- $1/1 Coupon- Doubled, 1 Ronzoni Smart Taste Pasta $1.67- .75/1 coupon- doubled, 4 Del Monte Vegetables .50 each $1/4 coupon- Doubled, 4 Kraft Cheese $1.49 each $1/2 coupons- Doubled, Cream Cheese $1.00 $1/3 coupon - Doubled.

Wal-Greens

So, I have had $63.00 to use in Register Rewards at Wal-Greens this week, and sadly for all intents, December has been pretty sad at Wal-Greens in regards to the Register Reward items, I really don't need anymore Theraflu, Triaminic or Dulcolax... : ) Now, a lot of site are posting that when you spend $25.00 (before coupons) that you get a $5.00 register reward- that has worked at the Payson, Pleasant Grove and 8th North Wal-greens, but note that the register rewards is good for 4 days, these ones expire QUICKLY. So I have spent about $40.00 of the register rewards, and have not gotten a LOT back, which is how I prefer to do it, but I guess it is what it is. Here is my shopping at Walgreens for the week (so far, I still have to go back and spend more :)

I got 4 Huggies, 2 Crest/ Oral B Toothbrushes, 2 Yes Chapstick, 4 Mars Treats, and 6 holiday pencils (other than the diapers, and toothbrushes, the rest were fillers)
Total Spent OOP $2.93- Total Saved $69.62, plus I got $19.00 in Register Rewards- note that I have to spend 10 by the 20th

Crackers Anyone?

This week (9/15-9/22) Buy Low Market in Provo has Nabisco Crackers Select Varieties 7-16 oz on sale for .98 a box. Now, that is a little far for me to drive, so I take my handy ad to Wal-Mart to price match.

I got 3 Tricuit Crackers, 2 Wheat Thins, 1 Chickin Biskit, 4 Ritz Crackers and 3 Reynolds Tin Foil
I had 4 $1/1 coupons and 3 $1/2 coupons for the crackers. I had 3 $1/1 Reynolds Wrap coupons from a handy little Reynolds coupon book that I saw at Smiths, Fresh Market and Macey's. The only size limitation on those coupons was that it didn't work for the 25 square foot, but the one at Walmart had an additional 5 feet more, so the coupon went through fine. The cashier price matched all the crackers including the Ritz Crackers because they fit within the size limitations, so she match that too- your cashier may or may not. My total spent OOP was $4.86, Total Saved $21.70, PLUS I qualify for the Nabisco Keep the Jingle in Your Holiday mail in Rebate for $10.00. You can check out the link here
http://www.kraftfoods.com/SiteCollectionImages/ImageRepository/Sept_09/Kraft_Holiday_Crackers.pdf

Sorry, I would just put the link, but the new Mac won't let copy the link address and it is WAY to long to try and type it all in.

*At Macey's this week, they have a LOT of crackers on sale

~Nabisco Assorted Crackers 5.5-10 Oz. $1.58 each.
There are some great $1/2 coupons from the Nabisco Keep the Jingle in Your Holiday book if you were able to pick one up

~Keebler Crackers 3/$5 8-16 oz. Assorted  Club, Townhouse
You can get .75/1 Toppers coupon and $1/2 ClubSticks coupons from here

~Kellogs Crackers 3/$5 8-10 oz Assorted Toasteds, Wheatables, Special K, All Bran
You should be able to get $1/1 Special K  from here

Also, at Macey's I got Farmland Sausage .99 each and used .55 off coupons from registering here, (you do have to register and they send their coupons in the mail, but they send 2 $1/1, 2 .75/1 and 4 .55/1 coupons that don't expire for 2 YEARS!), the Toblerone Bars are 2/$3 and I used $1/1 coupons from the 11/22 SS. I also got 2 Reynolds Parchment Papers but didn't put them in the picture (not sure why...) They were on sale for $2.49 and I had $1/1 printed coupons from here and click on the link for the coupon. Also, Egg Nog is on sale for .97 each.  Total Spent OOP $11.21 Total Saved $18.20

So, I think I am pretty much done getting toys for the little babe. I know after you see the toys I have gotten, you will think- what they heck is she thinking?!? Why all the toys?? Well, first off, he is our only child, the only grandchild on one side, and the only boy on the other, plus, they were such crazy good deals, that I feel ok :)

I got him 3 Trio toys, 3 Mr/ Mrs Potato Heads, 2 Playskool Hatchlings, 1 Playskool Stomper, Elefun, Girafalaff Limbo, HiHo Cherrio, Shoots and Ladders, Candyland, and Little Ensteins Rocket. Total Spent OOP $44.61 inc. tax. Total Saved $261.79

Mr./ Mrs. Potato Head

Do you have a Dollar General near you? Well, if you do than you can get Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head for just .50 each! They are priced at $2.50 each, but I have heard that Dollar General doesn't take internet coupons, so you can price match over at Wal-Mart. You can print the Dollar General ad here, it is on page 7 and I just print the page so that it has the price, but also has the Dollar Geneal info. Combine with the $2.00 coupon from here to get them for only .50.

*Just to make everyone aware, I usually try each deal so that I can make sure that it will actually work, so that when you get to the store it doesn't fall apart*

Toy Deal

Sunday - Wednesday this week, Smith's Marketplace has an instore coupon for an ADDITIONAL 25% off 3 toy items, plus you can use any manufacture's coupon in addition to this great deal. Combine this with any of the Hasbro/ Playskool coupons to score some awesome deals. What did I get? Well, I got 3 Playskool Hatchlings. There were some $5.00 coupons from here and there were some coupons in the newspaper about a month back (sorry, I don't remember when). The toys are on sale for $9.99, combine with the 25% off to make them $7.49, and using your $5.00 coupon, I ended up getting 3 for about $8.01. Not too bad considering they were regularly $18.99. I have been looking at getting these for a while, but couldn't bring myself to spend that much considering I didn't know how much the little babe would REALLY end up playing with it. So $8.00 for them, I will take that. :)

You can also get the Triceratops Stomper for a really great deal. It is $29.99, less the 25% $22.49, and use the $10.00 coupon from here to get it for $22.49, also a super deal!

Target

Ok, so Target is kinda on my irritated list for the fact that they cannot seem to get their policy right. Lately when I am there they limit how many coupons you can use, they say that 5 is the limit, but the computer still takes them and then will randomly not take one coupon. When I call the store, the say their isn't a limit, but when I am there, there is - it is REALLY getting old...FAST. I am still getting great deals, but sometimes the hassle is getting to me. I am dreaming about coupons, I do it enough in the day, please don't make me dream about it... :)

Here is my Kashi deal from last week, I would have posted the deal, but it was later on Saturday, and not all of the Targets have the same price cut, so it wouldn't have been quite the deal. Anyway, I got 6 boxes of Kashi Go Lean Crunch, 8 boxes of TLC Granola Bars, and 1 Box of Kashi Cookies. Total Spent OOP $4.40, Total Saved $55.23

I got 5 packs of wipes, 2 Snuggle Fabric Softner Sheets, (105 ct) 1 Kashi Frozen Waffles, 2 Ocean Spray Juice, and 2 Hefty Bags (also not pictured, cause we ate them, 2 donuts) Total Spent OOP $6.05. Total Saved $23.26

Target/ Glade Deal

Here is a current Target deal. For every 5 select Holiday Glade products you get a $5.00 Target Gift Card. Most of the items are on sale for $2.50 each. Plus, you can turn in those receipts to get a $5.00 MIR from SC Johnson (here). You can do 3 rebates per household. I have already done 2 rebates, so because I can only do one more, I just did all of this in one transaction. I got 6 Glade Scented Oil Refils and 4 candle holders. Discounted $2.50 twice, and I used 8 $1.50 coupons from the candles (the candles have the coupons in them, I have had extra in my coupon binder from previous purchases- I am NOT saying to take the coupons out of a product that you are not going to buy) So, that being said, my total was $8.00 after coupons, I used a $5.00 gift card from a previous deal, spent $4.07 OOP, BUT I got $10.00 in Target Gift Cards, PLUS I will get $5.00 from SC Johnson from the MIR. AlbErtSon's

Here are some pictures from my most recent Albertsons's trips

This was from my previous post here. So I used my $13.00 in Catalina coupons and got this

Well, not all of it. The first trip I made I got 3 Simply Pillsbury cookies, 5 Pillsbury cresent rolls, 3 Progresso Broths, and 2 Progresso soups. I used 3 $1/1 Simply cookie coupons (sorry I don't know when I got them) 2 $1/2 Pillsbury cresent rolls coupons, 2 $1/1 Progresso High Fiber soup coupons from here, and 3 .50 Progresso Broth coupons. Used 3 Albertsons double coupons, used my $13.00 in Catalina coupons, paid $1.35 OOP, total saved $39.29
My next trip I got 4 La Victoria Salsas $1 each, 6 3 pack Tree Top apple Juice (used $1/2 coupons) 2 lbs of meat, and 1 Happy Baby product. Used 3 doubles (for Tree Top) my $3.00 Catalina, paid $6.24 OOP, Saved $23.21, PLUS I still have a $10.00 Catalina (that I should probably use by the end of the week...)

Target

Need Chex Mix? This week at Target, the Chex Mix was on price cut for $1.73. I used $1/1 Target coupons from here (exp 10/24) and combines with .50 coupons from here and here. I got 17 bags of various Chex Mix, a Happy Baby snack with a free coupon and spent $4.37 OOP. Total Saved $32.57. Others were reporting that you could then price match to Wal-Greens or Macey's at $1.50 each making them free, but it is (IMO) too much of a hassle to price match at Target, and being that I used Target coupons, I wasn't sure how that would work, and so .23 each, I feel is not a bad price to pay :)

WaL-Greens

Earlier, I posted about the weekly deals at Wal-Greens, so here is my weekly trip~

I got the 3 Theraflu's, 1 Chapstick, 2 OreIda Fries and 1 Boo (as the babe calls it) sucker- it was a filler
I used the 3 $2/1 Theraflu coupons, 1 Wal-Greens $2/1 Theraflu coupon (took off $6) $1.50/2 OreIda coupons from here. Used $7 from previous Register Rewards, total Paid OOP $1.34. Got $11.00 back in Register Rewards. Total Saved $22.00

Then I got 2 More OreIda Fries (2/$2), Vaseline Lotion, 1 Chapstick, and 1 pencil sharpner (filller .24)
I used another $1.50/2 OreIda coupon, and a $1.50 Vaseline lotion coupon (not available anymore) Used my $8.00 register reward, and a $1.00 register reward from previous. Paid .97 OOP, received $10.00 in Register Rewards. Total Saved $12.75

RiTe Aid

This week at Rite Aid they have a TON of items that after Rebates you get for free, or with coupons, better than free. Utah Deal Diva has a fantastic post that has the transactions all spelled out for you right here.
Normally I would do all the work, but I have about 3 other posts to do and a rather fussy baby...

AlBerTsONs

Ok, I wanted to make sure that this would WORK before I posted this deal. Most households in Utah got a rather sad double sided Albertson's insert while locations outside got a great sale going. It was rumored that stores in Utah were participating in the sale, specifically Orem locations, but some were saying that Lehi, and AF were also working as well. So, I researched, went there and YAY! It was working there too! But, realize that the switch over is supposed to be happening next weekend, so no rainchecks and they are WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.

So, what is the deal you ask?

Spend $25.00 (before coupons) get a $10.00 Catalina coupon back.
Now, the items range from Progresso Soup and Broth, Betty Crocker Warm Delights, Muffin Mix, Cookie Mix, Instant Potatoes, Chex Mix, Nature Valley Granola Bars, Yopliat GoGurt, Yo Plus, Multi Packs. Etc.

WalGreens

Remember my post from here about the Huggies printable coupons? Well, this week at Walgreens, when you buy 2 Huggies Jumbo diaper packs 2/$18.00, you get a $4.00 Register Reward. Combine that with 2 printable coupons, and if you have the Walgreens Activity Book ($1/1 coupons, but it will take $1/1 EACH package- so an additional $2.00 off), you will spend $12-$14.00 on 2 packs of diapers, but get $4.00 back.

Target

Target Trip for the week- Previously they had the Airwick i-Motion Ultra's on a price cut for $5.99, they sold out, but I was able to get a rain check for 6.
So I got my 6 Airwicks, 1 Target toothbrush $1.02, 1 Target (like Clorox wipes) Wipes $1.82, 1 box of Garbage Bags $3.39, 1 Box Tissue .97, 2 Seventh Generation dishwasher tabs on clearance for $2.64 (used 2 $1/1 coupons from here and 1 Seventh Generation Dishwashing soap $2.69 (used $1/1 coupon from here) I used Target coupons on the toothbrush, wipes, tissue from a target booklet I got in the mail. My total before my raincheck and coupons was about $105.82- I have NEVER had a total that high) and my total Spent OOP was $13.18. Total Saved $92.64.

WalMart/ Albertsons

Ok, so since Albertsons will be leaving Utah shortly (Oct. 23 is when it is supposed to take place) they are still having deals, but they are not really stocking the store, carrying items anymore, giving out rainchecks and overall in general being so great. It is frusterating to go into the store when they don't have items that they should have and they have no idea if they are going to get anymore... So Thank You Walmart for price matching.

Here is my Albertons/Walmart deal

I got 2 Boxes of Ronzoi Pasta (used $1/2 coupon here )
5 Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough (used $1/1 coupon from here, also from the 10/11 SS coupons)
3 Welch's Juice (didn't have the $1/1 coupon, so I used the .75/1 coupon-sorry can't remember what date it came from)
2 McCormick Tempura Mix .22 each, 2 Quaker Oats $1.50 each 1 Tillamock butter $1.64, 1 pint whipping cream, 4 SaraLee Deli Meats (used $3/1 coupons, not available anymore) .98 each. 1 gallon Milk, and 2 Chocolate Milk (used $1/1 coupon from here) .72 each. Danimals yougurt .50 each, 2 lbs of zucchini .72 total, and 1 pack of rayovac 9V batteries (for the smoke decector in my babes room which decided it needed a new one, so the babe woke up at about 4:00am when it stated chirping...)I also got one of the Playskool toys, which I didn't take a picture of because it is a present for a relative) Total Spent OOP- $31.01, which included the toy. Total Saved $66.62 (I had about $30.00 in coupons alone)

Next Trip

I got 14 boxes of Ronzoni Pasta, 2 C&H 5 lbs Sugar, 1 Sparkle Paper Towel, 2 Emerald Peanuts, 4 Hershey's chocolate Chips, 4 Colgate Total Toothpaste, 1 Canola Oil (not on sale), 1 Pack Goldfish crackers, and 1 Star Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Total Spent OOP $19.98. Total Saved $69.36. You can check out where I got the majority of the coupons here

VoCaLPoiNT

Have you heard of VocalPoint? It is a great site that you can sign up to be a part of where you can get free samples of products and then you can let them know what you think of those items. I just recently joined and already I got a sample of Secret Clinical Stregnth Deodorant, and a book of coupons from Kashi which has 2 $3/1 coupons and 3 $1.50/1 coupons-- that is like at least 2 free cereals, plus the deodorant came with 5 $2/1 coupons. You can go and sign up here.

It was a great find in the mail box to get these two things from VocalPoint, PLUS I got my $5/1 Luvs diapers coupon.

TOYS!

Yay for toy coupons! If you have a younger child there 2 great deals going on over at Smith's MarketPlace.
The Playskool Explore N' Grow Busy Ball Popper or the Step Start Walk N' Ride are on sale for $10.99 (regularly about $20.00)

Combine that with the $5.00 coupon from here to get either toy for just $5.99. There is a coupon for both of them, so you could get some pretty inexpensive gifts for later on.
